Prince George's County Amphitheater

Prince George’s County conducted a countywide site identification and feasibility analysis for the proposed amphitheater. After narrowing down options based on transit accessibility, regional accessibility, existing parking infrastructure, Opportunity Zones, catalytic growth potential, and alignment with County priorities, the County identified the Blue Line Corridor as the most viable option for the amphitheater, with multiple publicly owned real estate assets as potential sites. Building the amphitheater on the Blue Line Corridor complements the County’s objective to make it the next sports and entertainment destination for the County, region, and State. The corridor is centrally located in the County served by the Beltway and four WMATA Blue/Silver Line stations, making it easily accessible to residents across the County and Washington Metropolitan region.
